Privacy & processing
Shotmira is a private-preview product visual studio. This notice describes the implementation in this preview; production retention and provider terms must be verified before public launch.
What stays in your workspace
Your original photo, working copy, protection masks, backgrounds, scenes and videos are stored privately. Files require an authenticated account and project ownership on every request. They are not added to a public gallery, marketing examples or a training dataset by Shotmira.
Photo preparation and masks
Photo preparation runs in the configured media worker. It decodes the photo, corrects orientation, converts the working copy to sRGB and removes location and camera metadata from that copy. The original is retained separately. A local background estimate helps you begin the mask; you must check and confirm it yourself.
Background generation
When enabled by the administrator, background generation is routed through the APIMart gateway to a third-party image model (currently an OpenAI gpt-image model). The current integration sends the chosen scene brief and composition instructions, including your optional description; it does not send your uploaded product photo. Keep confidential information out of scene descriptions. Provider retention and commercial-use conditions depend on the actual account and current terms. We do not promise that a provider stores no data or never trains on it without verifying that account configuration.
Silent videos
The configured media worker renders deterministic movement of your selected scene with FFmpeg. No audio, generative video service or new product view is used.
Retention and deletion
Workspace files remain until you delete their project or account. Deletion revokes access immediately. Online storage is queued for the scheduled cleanup job, which runs every 15 minutes when deployed and configured. The target is cleanup within 24 hours; outages can delay physical cleanup. This preview does not claim a verified backup-deletion deadline or permanent erasure before cleanup completes.
Local unsubmitted photo selections are stored only in this browser to survive sign-in and are cleared after an accepted upload. Draft composition settings may remain in browser storage until you clear site data. Successful confirmed masks are saved in the workspace. Failed upload and processing artifacts currently remain private until project deletion; automatic 24-hour/7-day artifact retention is a launch gate.
Account and technical records
Login details, project and task identifiers, allowance activity and technical processing errors support the workspace. Deleting an account revokes sessions and project access. Minimal allowance audit metadata can remain; photos and scene descriptions should not be written to application logs.
